1 жовтня 2026 в Європейському університеті відбулася святкова подія, присвячена Дню українського козацтва, Покрові Пресвятої Богородиці та Дню захисників і захисниць України. Цей день об’єднує важливі для українців символи – козацьку традицію, мужність, свободу, єдність і вдячність тим, хто сьогодні захищає Україну. Організатором заходу виступила проректор з виховної роботи ПВНЗ «Європейський університет» Олена Хоменко.

 

Студенти університету активно долучилися до святкової програми, продемонструвавши не лише свої знання, а й справжній командний дух. Особливо запеклою стала вікторина між факультетами, під час якої учасники змагалися за честь свого факультету, швидко відповідали на запитання та підтримували одне одного. Атмосфера заходу була сповнена енергії, гумору та щирого прагнення кожної команди здобути перемогу.

 

За результатами змагання перемогу здобув Факультет психології та соціальних технологій. Важливу роль у перемозі команди відіграла Отаманша факультету – Анастасія Рачук, студентка 3 курсу, яка стала справжнім лідером команди, згуртувала студентів та привела свій факультет до перемоги у святковій козацькій вікторині. Важливою частиною заходу стала «Клятва справжнього українця-патріота», яка нагадала студентам про особисту відповідальність за майбутнє своєї держави, повагу до української історії, культури та традицій.

 

Такі заходи є важливою складовою виховної роботи університету, адже допомагають молоді відчувати свою причетність до історії та сучасності України, зміцнюють почуття єдності, взаємопідтримки, громадянської відповідальності та національної гідності. Сьогодні особливого значення набуває і вдячність українським захисникам і захисницям, які щодня боронять нашу свободу, незалежність і право жити у власній державі.

 

День захисників і захисниць України – це не лише дата в календарі. Це нагода згадати тих, хто стоїть на захисті держави, віддати шану героїзму українців різних поколінь та усвідомити, що сила України — у її людях, єдності й незламному прагненні до свободи.

 

Єднаємося. Підтримуємо. Пам’ятаємо. Дякуємо нашим захисникам і захисницям! Разом ми  сила! Разом ми — Україна!

On 1 October 2026, European University held a festive event dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. This day brings together symbols that are deeply important to Ukrainians — the Cossack tradition, courage, freedom, unity, and gratitude to those who are defending Ukraine today. The event was organised by Olena Khomenko, Vice-Rector for Educational Work at PHEI “European University.”

 

University students actively took part in the festive programme, demonstrating not only their knowledge but also a strong team spirit. One of the most exciting parts of the event was the interfaculty quiz, where participants competed for the honour of their faculties, answered questions quickly, and supported one another. The atmosphere was full of energy, humour, and a sincere desire from each team to win.

 

The Faculty of Psychology and Social Technologies won the competition. An important role in the team’s success was played by the faculty’s Otamansha, Anastasiia Rachuk, a third-year student, who became a true team leader, united the students, and led her faculty to victory in the festive Cossack quiz.

 

An important part of the event was the “Oath of a True Ukrainian Patriot,” which reminded students of their personal responsibility for the future of their country and of the importance of respecting Ukrainian history, culture, and traditions.

 

Such events are an important part of the University’s educational and community-building work, as they help young people feel connected to both the history and the present of Ukraine, strengthen unity and mutual support, and foster civic responsibility and national dignity.

 

Today, gratitude to Ukrainian defenders is especially meaningful — to those who protect our freedom, independence, and right to live in our own country every day.

 

The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is more than just a date on the calendar. It is an opportunity to remember those who stand in defence of the state, to honour the courage of Ukrainians of different generations, and to understand that Ukraine’s strength lies in its people, its unity, and its unwavering commitment to freedom.

 

We unite. We support one another. We remember. We thank our defenders.
