Сьогодні ми зупиняємося на мить, щоб згадати той ранок, який змінив хід нашої історії. 24 лютого стало не лише датою початку повномасштабного вторгнення — воно стало точкою свідомого вибору. Вибору бути. Вибору боронити. Вибору жити вільними.

Національний день молитви за Україну — це не лише про слова, сказані в тиші храмів чи в особистому зверненні до Бога. Це про внутрішню зосередженість і відповідальність. Про усвідомлення ціни свободи. Про пам’ять про тих, хто заплатив і продовжує платити найвищу ціну — своїм життям, здоров’ям, домом, спокоєм.

Українці зробили вибір — на користь своєї держави, своєї гідності, свого майбутнього без фізичної й ментальної окупації. Цей вибір не був простим і не є завершеним. Він триває щодня — на фронті, у волонтерстві, в економіці, в освіті, в культурі, у науці.

Боронити країну — означає діяти на всіх фронтах. Це мужність воїнів. Це праця медиків і рятувальників. Це відповідальність підприємців. Це стійкість родин. Це чесність у професії. Це якість викладання і навчання. Це нетерпимість до байдужості.

Гідність — це вибір.
Вибір говорити правду.
Вибір протистояти несправедливості.
Вибір брати на себе відповідальність.
Вибір діяти так, щоб завтра було сильнішим за сьогодні.

Перемога, якої ми прагнемо, — це не лише про звільнення територій. Це про звільнення свідомості від страху й меншовартості. Про формування культури взаємної поваги. Про здатність будувати державу, де гідне життя є нормою, а не мрією.

Кожен із нас щодня робить свій внесок — у родині, на вулиці, на роботі, в університеті, у ставленні до себе й до інших. Саме з цих малих, але свідомих кроків складається велика історія країни.

Європейський університет схиляє голову перед пам’яттю загиблих, підтримує тих, хто боронить Україну, і продовжує працювати — готуючи фахівців, здатних мислити, відповідати, діяти.

Бо гідність — це вибір.
І ми зробили його.

February 24 — National Day of Prayer
Today we pause for a moment to remember the morning that changed the course of our history. February 24 became not only the date of the full-scale invasion — it became a point of conscious choice. The choice to exist. The choice to defend. The choice to live free.

The National Day of Prayer for Ukraine is not only about words spoken in the silence of churches or in personal обращения to God. It is about inner focus and responsibility. About understanding the price of freedom. About remembering those who have paid and continue to pay the highest price — with their lives, their health, their homes, their peace.

Ukrainians made a choice — in favor of their state, their dignity, and their future free from physical and mental occupation. This choice was not easy and is not complete. It continues every day — on the battlefield, in volunteering, in the economy, in education, in culture, and in science.

To defend the country means to act on all fronts. It is the courage of soldiers. It is the work of doctors and rescuers. It is the responsibility of entrepreneurs. It is the resilience of families. It is integrity in one’s profession. It is the quality of teaching and learning. It is intolerance of indifference.

Dignity is a choice.
The choice to speak the truth.
The choice to stand against injustice.
The choice to take responsibility.
The choice to act so that tomorrow is stronger than today.

The victory we seek is not only about liberating territories. It is about liberating consciousness from fear and inferiority. About building a culture of mutual respect. About the ability to create a state where a dignified life is the norm, not a dream.

Each of us contributes daily — in our families, on the streets, at work, at the university, in our attitude toward ourselves and others. From these small yet conscious steps, the great history of a country is formed.

European University bows its head in memory of the fallen, supports those defending Ukraine, and continues its work — preparing professionals capable of thinking, taking responsibility, and acting.

Because dignity is a choice.
And we have made it.
