В роботі наукового заходу присвяченого Дню науки 16 травня 2025 року взяли участь відомі діячі України та Європи  Валерій Колюх - народний депутат, голова підкомітету з питань науки та інновацій Комітету Верховної Ради України, Денис Курбатов, заступник Міністра освіти і науки України, Кароль Мансель-Бланшар - керівниця відділу RTD 03 «Міжнародне співробітництво, Європа та Америка», Штефан Шльойнінг - керівник програм співробітництва Представництва ЄС в Україні, Доктор Лідія Боррелль-Даміан - генеральна секретарка Science Europe. Європейський університет представляв проректор з наукової роботи Юрій Гудзь.

Була можливість взяти участь у  сесії «Роль JRC у досягненні загальної мети Програми “Горизонт Європа”», де розглядалися питання співпраці  з внутрішньою науковою службою ЄС та знайомство з Об'єднаним дослідницьким центром. Було  представлено новий європейський Баугауз та розкрито можливості для українських наукових інституцій.

Наступна сесія була присвячена  інтеграції України до Європейського та глобального дослідницьких просторів та синергії Європейських програм.  Серед питань, слід виділити: роль ІР офісу у забезпеченні сприятливого середовища для інновацій та досліджень в Україні у контексті євроінтеграції, Програму ЄС «Креативна Європа»: ефективність реалізації в Україні. Велику зацікавленість викликав Українсько-швейцарський науковий проєкт у галузі історії та проєкт PIECES Центру громадського здоров?я МОЗ України.

European University Joins the Scientific Event "Ukraine’s Integration into the European Research Area"

On May 16, 2025, as part of Science Day, European University participated in the scientific event “Ukraine’s Integration into the European Research Area.”

The event brought together prominent figures from Ukraine and Europe, including:

• Valerii Koliukh – Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Head of the Subcommittee on Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

• Denys Kurbatov – Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine

• Carole Mansel-Blanchard – Head of RTD Unit 03 "International Cooperation – Europe and the Americas"

• Stefan Schleuning – Head of Cooperation Programs at the EU Delegation to Ukraine

• Dr. Lidia Borrell-Damián – Secretary General of Science Europe

European University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Yurii Hudzii.

During the event, participants engaged in a session titled "The Role of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Achieving the Overall Goal of the Horizon Europe Program," which explored collaboration opportunities with the EU’s internal scientific service and introduced the Joint Research Centre. The New European Bauhaus initiative was also presented, highlighting new opportunities for Ukrainian research institutions.

Another session was dedicated to Ukraine’s integration into the European and global research areas and synergies among European programs. Key topics included:

• The role of IP offices in fostering an innovation-friendly environment in Ukraine in the context of European integration

• The effectiveness of the EU’s Creative Europe program implementation in Ukraine

• The Ukrainian-Swiss research project in the field of history
