31 жовтня у Європейському Університеті відбулася унікальна подія до Гелловіну, організована Культурно-мистецьким центром спільно з кафедрами філології та соціально-гуманітарних дисциплін.

Захід став святом міжкультурного спілкування та пізнання традицій. Він пройшов шістьма мовами: українською, англійською, іспанською, німецькою, польською та чеською, підкреслюючи інтернаціональний дух Університету.

Кульмінацією стало обрання Короля та Королеви Ночі, натхненне мексиканським «Днем Мертвих» (El Día de los Muertos). Студенти дослідили історію свята — від кельтського Самайну до сучасного карнавалу. Наголошувалося, що Гелловін — це прояв самовираження та інтеграції. Обговорення виявили паралелі елементів Гелловіну з обрядовістю багатьох народів, зокрема з українськими Андріївськими вечорницями. Університет вкотре продемонстрував глибоку повагу до світового культурного спадку.

On October 31, the European University hosted a unique Halloween event, a celebration of intercultural communication and global traditions. Organized by the Cultural and Artistic Center in collaboration with the Departments of Philology and Social and Humanities Disciplines, the evening was conducted in six languages: Ukrainian, English, Spanish, German, Polish, and Czech, underscoring the University's international spirit.

The atmosphere culminated in the election of the King and Queen of the Night, a tradition inspired by the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' (El Día de los Muertos). Students explored the holiday's origins—from the ancient Celtic Samhain to the modern global carnival. It was emphasized that Halloween is a significant expression of self-expression, creativity, and cultural integration.

Discussions highlighted parallels between Halloween elements and the customs of many nations, including Ukrainian Andriivski Vechornytsi. The university has proven that education involves a deep understanding and respect for global cultural heritage.
