27 серпня 2025 року проректор з наукової роботи ПВНЗ «Європейський університет» Юрій ГУДЗЬ, працівники бібліотеки Університету Олександр МАСЛЮК та Ольга ІВАНЮК долучилися до вебінару «Академічна доброчесність та етика наукових досліджень в епоху відкритої науки», який відбувся на базі Державної науково-технічної бібліотеки України. 

 

Вебінар стосувався різних питань академічної доброчесності, а саме: різних форм плагіату; етики цитування; фабрикації даних; захисту персональних даних, які використовуються в наукових досліджень. Особливу увагу доповідачі приділили конфлікту інтересів в науці, принципів, переваг та ризиків відкритої науки, питанню анонімізації персональних даних, а також практичним аспектам роботи дослідника з такими даними. Також розглянуто проблему зловживань бібліометричними показниками в українській науці та наслідках подібних практик для академічної спільноти.

 

Таким чином, вебінар стосувався реалізації окремих Цілей сталого розвитку (ЦСР), а саме:

ЦСР 4. Якісна освіта (доступу викладачів та студентів до наукових досліджень)

ЦСР  9. Інновації та інфраструктура (впровадження інновацій в українську науку та освіту, розвиток відкритої науки, створення й підтримка інституційних, тематичних та централізованих репозитаріїв, а також захист персональних даних).

ЦСР 10. Зменшення нерівності (впровадження відкритої науки та дотримання академічної доброчесності в питанні безперешкодному доступі до даних молодих вчених).

У вересні ДНТБ України продовжить серію вебінарів, що можуть бути корисними для науковців.

PARTICIPATION IN A WEBINAR ON ACADEMIC INTEGRITY IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

On August 27, 2025, Yuriy HUDZ, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the European University, and University library staff Oleksandr MASLYUK and Olga IVANYUK joined the webinar "Academic Integrity and Ethics of Scientific Research in the Era of Open Science", which was held at the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.

 

The webinar addressed various issues related to academic integrity, including forms of plagiarism, citation ethics, data fabrication, and the protection of personal data used in scientific research. The speakers paid special attention to the conflict of interest in science, the principles, advantages, and risks of open science, the issue of anonymizing personal data, as well as the practical aspects of a researcher’s work with such data. The problem of bibliometric indicator abuse in Ukrainian science, as well as its consequences for the academic community, is also examined.

 

Thus, the webinar concerned the implementation of individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely:

SDG 4. Quality education (access to scientific research for teachers and students)

SDG 9. Innovation and infrastructure (introduction of innovations into Ukrainian science and education, development of open science, creation and support of institutional, thematic, and centralized repositories, as well as protection of personal data).

SDG 10. Reduction of inequality (implementation of open science and observance of academic integrity in the issue of unhindered access to data for young scientists).

 

In September, the National Science and Technology Service of Ukraine will continue its series of webinars, which may be helpful for scientists.
