24 березня у Європейському університеті відбулася відкрита лекція, присвячена Цілям сталого розвитку та стратегіям їх реалізації на глобальному рівні, яку провів завідувач кафедри економіки, фінансів та обліку, кандидат економічних наук, доцент Денис Щербатих.

Учасники заходу дізналися про ключові аспекти стратегії ООН, виклики та можливості для України, а також обговорили практичні кейси впровадження принципів сталого розвитку у  різних сферах.

Лекція викликала жваву дискусію серед учасників, оскільки питання екологічної рівноваги, економічної стабільності та соціальної справедливості є критично важливими у сучасному світі. Обговорювали, як держави адаптуються до глобальних викликів, які стратегії впроваджуються для досягнення Цілей сталого розвитку та яку роль у цьому процесі відіграють освітні установи, бізнес та громадянське суспільство.

Небайдужість до теми сталого розвитку ще раз підтвердила, що майбутнє залежить від наших сьогоднішніх рішень. Сподіваємося, що отримані знання та ідеї стануть поштовхом для нових ініціатив, досліджень та проєктів, спрямованих на створення кращого світу!

European University Supports the Sustainable Development Goals

On March 24, European University hosted an open lecture on the Sustainable Development Goals and strategies for implementing them at the global level. Denys Shcherbatykh, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting, delivered the lecture.

Participants learned about the key aspects of the UN strategy, the challenges and opportunities for Ukraine, and discussed practical cases of implementing sustainable development principles across various sectors.

The lecture sparked a lively discussion among the attendees, as issues of environmental balance, economic stability, and social justice are critically important today. The conversation focused on how countries adapt to global challenges, what strategies are being implemented to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and the role educational institutions, businesses, and civil society play in this process.

The intense interest in sustainable development once again confirmed that our future depends on the decisions we make today. We hope that the knowledge and ideas gained will inspire new initiatives, research, and projects aimed at creating a better world!
