19 березня 2025 року студенти груп 028/1 та 028/2 Фахового бізнес-коледжу Європейського університету разом із викладачем історії, доцентом кафедри соціально-гуманітарних дисциплін Петрушко Л.А., взяли участь у виховній годині, присвяченій 95-річчю видатної української поетеси Ліни Костенко.

Захід поєднав у собі відзначення ювілею літературної легенди, Всесвітнього дня поезії (21 березня) та глибше знайомство з шістдесятництвом – важливим явищем в історії української культури.

Студенти впізнавали Ліну Костенко на світлинах різних років, відкривали для себе цікаві факти її біографії, слухали висловлювання сучасників про її талант та вплив на суспільство. Особливе зацікавлення викликали спогади доньки поетеси про непростий період її творчого мовчання.

Аудиторії наповнилися поетичними рядками: прозвучали як широко відомі, так і менш популярні, але не менш глибокі твори Ліни Василівни. Усі присутні одностайно підтвердили: Ліна Костенко по праву є «королевою української поезії».

Окрему увагу було приділено історичному контексту її життя та творчості – адже її поезія не лише про красу слова, а й про силу духу, боротьбу за свободу та правду.

Захід став яскравим нагадуванням про те, що справжня поезія – вічна, а слово Ліни Костенко продовжує надихати покоління.

The Queen of Ukrainian Poetry Turns 95!
On March 19, 2025, students of groups 028/1 and 028/2 from the Business College of European University, together with their history lecturer, L.A. Petrushko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, participated in an educational session dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko.

The event combined the celebration of this literary legend’s milestone, World Poetry Day (March 21), with a deeper exploration of the Shestydesyatnyky movement, a significant phenomenon in Ukrainian cultural history.

Students identified Lina Kostenko in photographs from different periods, discovered fascinating facts about her life, and listened to contemporary reflections on her talent and influence. Special attention was drawn to the memoirs of the poet’s daughter, who shared insights into her mother’s creative silence during a challenging period.

The rooms were filled with poetic lines, and Lina Vasylivna's well-known and lesser-known yet equally profound works were recited. All attendees unanimously agreed that Lina Kostenko deserves the title “the Queen of Ukrainian Poetry.”

Particular emphasis was placed on the historical context of her life and work, for her poetry is not only about the beauty of words but also about the power of the spirit, the fight for freedom, and the pursuit of truth.

The event vividly reminded us that true poetry is eternal, and Lina Kostenko’s words continue to inspire generations.
