В 2026 році ПВНЗ «Європейський університет» та ВГО Українська бібліотечна асоціація підписали угоду про партнерство. Партнери планують сприяти розвитку взаємовигідного співробітництва у бібліотечно-інформаційній галузі, здійснювати взаємний обмін візитами учасників заходів та розповсюджувати інформацію про діяльність партнерів.

Таким чином, Університет  долучається до творення та реалізації бібліотечно-інформаційної політики, лобіювання інтересів користувачів бібліотек і бібліотекарів на всіх рівнях, встановлення  та підтримка контактів  взаємовигідного партнерства з бібліотечними товариствами, бібліотеками та інформаційними центрами провідних зарубіжних країн; участі у міжнародних програмах і проєктах.

Місією Української бібліотечної асоціації є об’єднання бібліотекарів, бібліотечних установ, організацій для консолідації зусиль у протидії війні, подоланні її наслідків і творенні майбутнього, а також для розвитку та реалізації професійної спроможності й досягнення нової якості бібліотечної справи. Найважливішими цілями громадської організації є просування інноваційних моделей діяльності бібліотек, бібліотечної адвокації та інтеграція бібліотекарів України у світову професійну спільноту.

PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION "EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY" BECAME AN OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE UKRAINIAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION

In 2026, the European University and the Ukrainian Library Association signed a partnership agreement. The partners plan to promote the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the library and information industry, exchange visits of participants in events, and disseminate information about the activities of the partners.

Thus, the University participates in the creation and implementation of library and information policy, lobbying the interests of library users and librarians at all levels, establishing and maintaining contacts for mutually beneficial partnerships with library societies, libraries, and information centers of leading foreign countries; participating in international programs and projects.

The mission of the Ukrainian Library Association is to unite librarians, library institutions, and organizations to consolidate efforts in combating war, overcoming its consequences, and creating the future, as well as to develop and implement professional capacity and achieve a new quality of librarianship. The most important goals of the public organization are to promote innovative models of library activity, library advocacy, and the integration of Ukrainian librarians into the global professional community.
