22 листопада 2024 року студенти Факультету психології та соціальних технологій Європейського університету взяли участь у заході до Дня пам’яті жертв голодоморів. У рамках події було організовано перегляд та обговорення документального фільму «Запали свічку пам’яті за жертвами Голодомору. Борись за Україну та підтримуй воїнів».

Під час обговорення студенти та викладачі глибше усвідомили масштаби репресивної політики радянської влади щодо українського народу та провели паралелі з сучасною агресивною політикою росії на окупованих територіях.

Цей захід нагадав, що пам’ять про жертви є надзвичайно важливою. Лише через усвідомлення минулого ми можемо гарантувати, що злочини проти людства будуть засуджені світовою спільнотою, а жертви отримають гідне вшанування.

Модератором заходу виступив кандидат юридичних наук, викладач Ю.М. Онищенко.

Candle of Remembrance: Students of European University Honor Holodomor Victims.

On November 22, 2024, students from the Faculty of Psychology and Social Technologies at European University participated in an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Holodomor Victims. As part of the event, a screening and discussion of the documentary film "Light a Candle of Remembrance for Holodomor Victims. Fight for Ukraine and Support the Defenders" was organized.

During the discussion, students and faculty gained a deeper understanding of the repressive policies of the Soviet regime against the Ukrainian people. They drew parallels with russia's current aggressive policies in the occupied territories.

The event underscored the critical importance of remembering the victims. Only by acknowledging the past can we ensure that the international community condemns crimes against humanity and that the victims are appropriately honored.
