Professor Tymoshenko is an Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Chairman of the Association of Privately Owned Educational Institutions of Ukraine, valid member of the International Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions, honorary professor at the International University (Vienna) and the Ukrainian American Humanitarian Institute “Wisconsin International University (USA)”.
Born on March 14, 1937, in Donetsk region. After graduating from Lviv State University named after I. Franka (1960) worked as a Head of Secondary Schools in the Lviv region (1960-1967); Assistant, Docent of the Zaporizhia Machine-Building and Zaporizhia Industrial Institutes (1967-1986); Associate Professor of the Kyiv Institute of Light Industry (1986-1991).
In 1991, together with his wife and daughter, he founded one of the first privately owned higher education institutions in Ukraine. A modern higher educational establishment with highly qualified professors was created without any investments. The university has a powerful material base for education, scientific research, recreation and accommodation for pupils and students. The modern content of education, innovative search are the hallmarks of the European University.
In September 2008, the International Corporation of Public Organizations, the European Business Assembly, awarded the European University with the international award ‘European Quality’.
Ivan Tymoshenko is the author of more than 50 scientific and educational and methodological works on history, economics, enterprise management and problems of higher education.
He was awarded with certificates of honour of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Excellence of Education of Ukraine Badge, Petro Mohyla Badge, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (Conscientious Work Honorary Certificate), Certificate of Honor by the Kyiv mayor.

Zoya Tymoshenko directly engaged in the organization of the educational process, managed the work of departments and graduate students not only in the main university in Kyiv, but also in branches of the European University located in almost all regions of Ukraine.
Strenuous work on the development of the European University Tymoshenko successfully combined with research and scientific-methodical activities. She is the author of more than 90 published works on philosophy, political science, education, and socio-political aspects of society's development. She trained five candidates of sciences in political sciences.
She was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Excellence of Education of Ukraine Badge, the Veteran of Labor Medal, the Order For Development of the Association of Privately Owned Educational Institutions of Ukraine, the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius for services to revival of spirituality in Ukraine and for many years of scientific and educational activity, certificates of honor from public and private institutions of Ukraine and abroad.
