THE STUDENT VOICE IN UNIVERSITY LIFE

Our student council is part of the Academic Council and includes the following representatives:

• Student of the Faculty of Information Systems and Technology – Aisha El Kheraji

• Postgraduate student of the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting – Oleksandr Svyatoboh

STUDENT SELF-GOVERNANCE BODY STRUCTURE

The Project Department develops, organizes, and implements various projects and events for students. Partner Communications maintains connections with other organizations and institutions to facilitate mutually beneficial partnerships. From initiating projects to their implementation, the Project Department manages every step, supporting vibrant student life and fostering new initiatives within the university.

The Communications Department manages both internal and, as needed, external communication between the council and other students, administration, media, and partners. This includes informing students by creating and disseminating information about the council's activities, events, news, and important announcements through various channels (social media, website, information boards, etc.) and gathering feedback from students to enhance the council's communication and operations. Overall, the department ensures effective communication between the council and the community while developing its public image.

The Legal Department is responsible for protecting students' rights and interests, as well as providing legal support and assistance on various issues. This department's primary tasks include:

• Document Analysis – reviewing self-governance documents (rules, regulations, protocols, etc.) for compliance with current legislation and students’ interests.

• Conflict Resolution: Participating in resolving conflicts between students, teachers, or administration, helping to mediate disputes.
  This department plays a crucial role in ensuring students' legal rights, assisting with legal matters, and fostering fair educational conditions at the university.

The Media Department creates and promotes visual and multimedia content to showcase council activities, student events, and projects. It supports social media presence (Instagram, Telegram, TikTok), creates posts, stories, and videos to engage students in events, records and edits videos about events, conducts interviews with students, and more! The Media Department is dedicated to visually representing the council’s work, increasing its popularity, and encouraging student involvement in active university life.

The Sports Section organizes and promotes athletic activities within the university, engaging students in physical fitness and healthy lifestyles. Organizing sports tournaments, competitions, championships in various sports, and inter-university matches—the Sports Section manages all of this. It promotes physical culture, unites students through sports, and enhances the overall wellness and engagement of the university community.
