16 червня у місті Стамбул (Туреччина) відбулося офіційне відкриття Глобального конгресу сталого розвитку 2025, організованого Times Higher Education за підтримки Ради вищої освіти Туреччини.

У перший день роботи Конгресу делегація Європейського університету у складі проректора з наукової роботи Юрія Гудзя та директорки Пирятинської філії Аліни Захарченко пройшла акредитацію та долучилася до роботи конгресу.

Наші представники взяли участь у тематичних сесіях, присвячених:

- інтеграції STEM-підходу в освітні програми задля досягнення цілей сталого розвитку;

- ролі вищої освіти у формуванні сталого суспільства.

У рамках заходу також було досягнуто домовленостей щодо підписання меморандумів про співпрацю з дев’ятьма університетами з різних країн, зокрема Оману, Азербайджану, Королівства Саудівська Аравія, Китаю, Туреччини, Республіки Гана та інших.

European University delegation participates in

Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025

On June 16, the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025, organized by Times Higher Education with the support of the Turkish Council of Higher Education, officially opened in Istanbul, Turkey.

On the first day of the Congress, a delegation from European University, consisting of Vice-Rector for Scientific Yuriy Gudzi and Director of the Pyriatyn Branch Alina Zakharchenko, was accredited and joined the work of the Congress.

Our representatives took part in thematic sessions devoted to:

- integrating the STEM approach into educational programs to achieve sustainable development goals;

- the role of higher education in shaping a sustainable society.

During the event, agreements were also reached on the signing of memoranda of cooperation with nine universities from different countries, including Oman, Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, China, Turkey, the Republic of Ghana, and others.
