18 червня 2025 року завідувач кафедри економіки, фінансів та обліку Європейського університету, к.е.н., доц. Денис Володимирович Щербатих взяв участь у роботі разової спеціалізованої вченої ради як офіційний опонент на захисті дисертаційної роботи Президента Асоціації українських банків Андрія Богдановича Дубаса, поданої на здобуття наукового ступеня доктора філософії.

 

Тема наукової роботи «Забезпечення фінансової стабільності банківської системи України в умовах євроінтеграції» є надзвичайно актуальною з огляду на сучасні виклики, що постають перед фінансовим сектором держави. 

 

У своєму виступі Денис Володимирович відзначив високий рівень наукової підготовки здобувача, логічну побудову наукового дослідження, обґрунтованість аналітичних висновків і практичних рекомендацій, а також особливу цінність прикладного досвіду, інтегрованого в дисертаційну роботу.

Захист пройшов на високому академічному рівні. За результатами голосування членів разової спеціалізованої вченої ради, Андрію Богдановичу Дубасу було одностайно присуджено науковий ступінь доктора філософії у галузі управління та адміністрування.

 

Участь Європейського університету в таких наукових заходах є важливою складовою підтримки міжінституційної співпраці, обміну експертизою та розвитку наукового потенціалу України. Це сприяє посиленню академічного діалогу між закладами вищої освіти та представниками професійних спільнот, зокрема банківської сфери, та формуванню інтелектуальної бази для сталого розвитку фінансової системи держави.

Participation in the PhD Defense on Financial Stability in the Context of European Integration

 

On June 18, 2025, Head of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at European University, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Denys Volodymyrovych Shcherbatykh, took part in a one-time specialized academic council as an official opponent at the PhD defense of Andriy Bohdanovych Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks.

 

The topic of the dissertation, “Ensuring Financial Stability of Ukraine’s Banking System in the Context of European Integration,” is highly relevant in light of the current challenges faced by the country’s financial sector.

 

In his review, Denys Volodymyrovych highlighted the high level of academic preparation demonstrated by the candidate, the logical structure of the research, the well-founded analytical conclusions and practical recommendations, as well as the value of applied experience integrated into the dissertation.

 

The defense was conducted at a high academic level. Based on the unanimous vote of the academic council, Andriy Bohdanovych Dubas was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Management and Administration.

 

European University’s participation in such academic events is an essential part of fostering inter-institutional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of Ukraine’s scientific potential. It promotes deeper academic dialogue between higher education institutions and representatives of professional communities—particularly the banking sector—and contributes to building an intellectual foundation for the sustainable development of the country’s financial system.
