24 жовтня 2025 року Європейський університет долучився до роботи круглого столу, організованого Комітетом підприємців малого та середнього бізнесу спільно з Торгово-промисловою палатою України. Темою зустрічі стало обговорення «Емоційного інтелекту (ЕІ) та його значення для розвитку малого і середнього підприємництва».

Європейський університет представили провідні науковці:

• Ірина Олегівна Борейчук — кандидат психологічних наук, завідувач кафедри загальної та соціальної психології, експерт з психології творчості, професійний член Всеукраїнської організації арттерапії. Тема виступу: «Поведінкова сторона фінансів: як емоції формують рішення, ризики та прибуток».

• Тетяна Геннадіївна Остапенко — доктор економічних наук, доцент, професор кафедри економіки, фінансів та обліку. Тема виступу: «Інноваційне підґрунтя емоційного інтелекту».

У ході дискусії учасники порушили низку важливих питань, пов’язаних із впливом емоцій на бізнес-рішення, ефективність управління та підприємницький розвиток. Відповіді спікерів були змістовними, аргументованими та охопили ключові аспекти теми.

Європейський університет і надалі продовжуватиме підтримувати діалог між освітою, наукою та бізнесом, сприяючи формуванню нового покоління підприємців, здатних поєднувати інтелект, інноваційність і людяність. Адже саме розвиток емоційної компетентності стає важливою складовою успішного лідерства та стійкого економічного зростання в Україні.

European University Joins Roundtable on Emotional Intelligence and SME Development

On October 24, 2025, the European University took part in a roundtable discussion organized by the Committee of Entrepreneurs of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
The event focused on the topic “Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Its Importance for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”

Distinguished scholars represented European University:
• Iryna Boreichuk, Ph.D. in Psychology, Head of the Department of General and Social Psychology, expert in the psychology of creativity, and professional member of the All-Ukrainian Art Therapy Association.
Presentation topic: “The Behavioral Side of Finance: How Emotions Shape Decisions, Risks, and Profit.”
• Tetiana Ostapenko, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting.
Presentation topic: “The Innovative Basis of Emotional Intelligence.”

During the discussion, participants explored how emotions influence business decisions, management efficiency, and entrepreneurial growth. The speakers provided insightful and well-reasoned responses, highlighting the key dimensions of emotional intelligence in the business context.

European University reaffirms its commitment to fostering dialogue among education, science, and business, contributing to the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs who can combine intellect, innovation, and humanity.
Developing emotional competence is becoming a vital foundation for effective leadership and sustainable economic growth in Ukraine.
