23 листопада 2024 року Європейський університет долучився до загальнонаціональної хвилини мовчання о 16:00, щоб вшанувати пам’ять жертв Голодомору – однієї з найбільших трагедій в історії українського народу. Цей акт став символічним нагадуванням про події, які назавжди закарбувалися в серцях українців.

Кафедра соціально-гуманітарних дисциплін організувала акцію «Запали свічку пам’яті» у форматі фотоколажу. Викладачі та студенти запалили свічки у своїх вікнах, демонструючи скорботу за загиблими та єдність у цей день.

Щиро дякуємо викладачам Хоменко О.О., Щербатих Д.В., Зайцеву О.М., Атаманській С.С., Маслюку О.Г. та всім іншим учасникам заходу. Особливу вдячність висловлюємо нашим студентам, які проявляють свідомість, небайдужість і високі моральні якості – як майбутні відповідальні громадяни України.

Цей простий, але глибокий жест єднає нас у часи випробувань, нагадуючи: ми пам’ятаємо своє минуле, щоб будувати краще майбутнє.

European University Honors the Memory of the Victims of Holodomor.

On November 23, 2024, European University joined the nationwide moment of silence at 4:00 PM to honor the memory of the victims of Holodomor – one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the Ukrainian people. This act served as a symbolic reminder of events that will forever remain etched in the hearts of Ukrainians.

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Studies organized the "Light a Candle of Memory" initiative as a photo collage. Faculty members and students lit candles in their windows, expressing sorrow for the victims and unity on this solemn day.

We sincerely thank the faculty members O.O. Khomenko, D.V. Shcherbatykh, O.M. Zaitsev, S.S. Atamanska, O.H. Masliuk, and many others, as well as our students, who demonstrate consciousness, empathy, and high moral values – embodying the qualities of future responsible citizens of Ukraine.

This simple yet profound gesture unites us in times of trials, reminding us we remember our past to build a better future.

We remember. We fight. We will prevail.
