25–27 липня 2025 року в Києві відбувся VIII Конгрес Української студентської ліги, що об’єднав делегатів від понад 90 органів студентського самоврядування та представників державних і громадських інституцій.

Європейський університет на події представляли голова студентської ради та голова сектору правового регулювання. Вони долучилися до обговорень ключових викликів та можливостей для студентства в сучасних умовах.

Програма Конгресу охоплювала панельні дискусії щодо трансформації вищої освіти під час війни, співпраці студентства з бізнесом, ролі волонтерства та державотворчих процесів.
Крім того, приємним бонусом стало нагородження певних ОСС та окремих людей, які вклали великий вклад в розвиток Української студентської ліги. До переліку тих, кому вручили подяки увійшла голова нашої Студентської ради - Паливода Анна.
Завершальним акордом стала Q&A-сесія з третім Президентом України Віктором Ющенком.

За результатами Конгресу було обрано новий склад Виконавчої колегії УСЛ та затверджено оновлену редакцію Статуту організації.

Участь студентських лідерів Європейського університету в таких заходах є важливим кроком для розвитку самоврядування, формування професійних та громадянських компетентностей, а також посилення голосу студентства на національному рівні.

Representatives of European University Took Part in the VIII Congress of the Ukrainian Student League

On July 25–27, 2025, the VIII Congress of the Ukrainian Student League was held in Kyiv, bringing together delegates from more than 90 student self-government bodies as well as representatives of state and civic institutions.

European University was represented at the event by the head of the Student Council and the head of the Legal Regulation Sector. They joined discussions on the key challenges and opportunities for students in today’s conditions.

The Congress program included panel discussions on the transformation of higher education during the war, cooperation between students and businesses, the role of volunteering, and nation-building processes.

In addition, a pleasant highlight was the recognition of certain student self-government bodies and individuals who made a significant contribution to the development of the Ukrainian Student League. Among those awarded was the head of our Student Council, Anna Palyvoda.

The event concluded with a Q&A session with the third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko.

As a result of the Congress, a new Executive Board of the Ukrainian Student League was elected, and an updated version of the organization’s Statute was approved.

The participation of European University student leaders in such events is an important step in strengthening self-governance, shaping professional and civic competencies, and amplifying the voice of students at the national level.
