Протягом квітня-червня 2026 року на базі Європейського університету працювала Школа політичної освіти – освітній проєкт, що об'єднав близько п'ятисот слухачів: військових, студентів різних спеціальностей та всіх, хто прагне свідомо й компетентно долучатися до суспільного життя країни.

До роботи Школи було залучено досвідчених експертів, політологів, журналістів, державних діячів і практиків публічної комунікації. Такий формат дав слухачам не лише теоретичну базу, а й живий досвід спілкування від тих, хто щодня працює в політиці, медіа та державному секторі.

Програму було побудовано так, щоб провести учасників від фундаментальних правил гри української держави до практичних навичок публічної особи. Перший блок був присвячений тому, як працює Конституція та захист прав у реальних умовах, і місцю України в архітектурі міжнародної безпеки. Другий блок розкрив політичну архітектуру країни – партійну систему, законодавчий процес, виборче законодавство та розвиток громад. Третій блок сформував компетентності комунікації та впливу: етику й психологію політичної діяльності, стратегічні комунікації, риторику, роботу з фактами та відкритими даними.

Особлива цінність Школи – у складі її аудиторії. Поряд зі студентами навчалися люди з досвідом військової служби, чия витримка й розуміння ціни рішень стають дедалі важливішим ресурсом для української політики. Саме на таких слухачів – майбутніх учасників громадської активності, місцевого самоврядування та виборчих кампаній – і була орієнтована програма.

Попереду у слухачів – підсумкове тестування, яке підтвердить набуті знання, та підсумкова конференція, час і формат якої буде повідомлено додатково. Усі, хто успішно складе тест, отримають сертифікат про завершення Школи; учасники підсумкової конференції додатково отримають свідоцтво державного зразка обсягом 6 кредитів ЄКТС (180 годин).

The School of Political Education at European University: First Outcomes

From April to June 2026, European University hosted its School of Political Education — an educational initiative that brought together nearly five hundred participants: members of the military, students from a range of disciplines, and everyone seeking to take a conscious and competent part in the civic life of the country.

The School drew on an accomplished roster of contributors — seasoned experts, political scientists, journalists, public officials, and communications practitioners. This format gave participants not only a solid theoretical foundation, but also first-hand insight from people who work in politics, the media, and the public sector every day.

The programme was designed to lead participants from the fundamental rules of the Ukrainian state to the practical skills of a public figure. The first module examined how the Constitution works and how rights are protected in real-world conditions, along with Ukraine's place in the international security architecture. The second module unpacked the country's political architecture — the party system, the legislative process, electoral law, and community development. The third module built the competencies of communication and influence: the ethics and psychology of political activity, strategic communications, rhetoric, and working with facts and open data.

The School's particular value lay in the make-up of its audience. Alongside students, the classes brought together people with military service experience, whose resilience and understanding of the cost of decisions are becoming an increasingly vital asset for Ukrainian politics. It was precisely these participants — future contributors to civic activism, local self-government, and election campaigns — for whom the programme was designed.

Ahead lie two final steps for participants: a concluding assessment to confirm the knowledge they have gained, and a closing conference, the date and format of which will be announced in due course. All those who successfully pass the test will receive a certificate of completion of the School; participants in the closing conference will additionally receive a state-recognised diploma worth 6 ECTS credits (180 hours).
