Студентки 1 курсу факультету інформаційних систем і технологій ПВНЗ "Європейський університет" — Ілона Бойко та Кіра Верпаховська — гідно представили університет на Всеукраїнському конкурсі есе «Свобода народам! Свобода людині! Історія та перспективи боротьби поневолених росією народів».

Конкурс відбувся в межах ХІІ Бандерівських читань, організованих Науково-аналітичним центром «Українські студії стратегічних досліджень». Його мета — залучити молодь до глибокого осмислення визвольних рухів народів, які зазнали колоніального поневолення з боку росії, дослідити форми спротиву, роль лідерів та історичні уроки боротьби за незалежність.

Науковий керівник есе — завідувач кафедри соціально-гуманітарних дисциплін, к.і.н., доцент Олена Олександрівна Хоменко, яка забезпечила глибоку фахову підтримку учасниць.

На конкурс надійшло понад 226 робіт з усієї України. Роботи наших студенток увійшли до числа найкращих і були відзначені дипломами.

Freedom for Nations — Freedom for Individuals: European University Students Among the Winners of National Essay Contest

First-year students of the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies at the European University — Ilona Boiko and Kira Verpakhovska — proudly represented their university in the All-Ukrainian Essay Contest “Freedom for Nations! Freedom for Individuals! History and Prospects of the Struggle of Peoples Enslaved by Russia.”

The contest took place within the framework of the 12th Bandera Readings, organized by the Ukrainian Strategic Studies Research Center. Its aim is to engage young people in a deeper understanding of liberation movements among nations colonized by Russia, to explore various forms of resistance, leadership figures, and historical lessons in the fight for independence.

The scientific supervisor of the essays was Olena Oleksandrivna Khomenko, PhD in History, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. She provided valuable academic guidance to the participants.

The contest received over 226 submissions from across Ukraine. The essays of our students were ranked among the best entries and were awarded diplomas.
