18 червня учасники Глобального конгресу сталого розвитку 2025 у місті Стамбул продовжили роботу в надзвичайно динамічному та перспективному напрямі - застосування інноваційних технологій для досягнення Цілей сталого розвитку.

Центральною подією дня стали пленарні засідання, присвячені ролі штучного інтелекту у трансформації підходів до сталого розвитку, розвитку соціальних інновацій та активному залученню молоді до лідерства у сфері кліматичних змін. Обговорення підкреслило необхідність міждисциплінарної взаємодії та інтеграції сучасних технологій у сферу освіти, науки й громадянського суспільства.

У межах конгресу Європейський університет здійснив важливий крок у розширенні міжнародного партнерства — підписано офіційний Меморандум про співпрацю у науковій та освітній сферах з Вищим навчальним закладом Султанату Оман – Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS).

Також підготовлено до підписання низку стратегічно важливих документів: меморандум з Юридичним університетом Республіки Узбекистан, Софійський технічний університет (Болгарія) та Вісайським державним університетом (Філіппіни). Усі ці домовленості сприятимуть поглибленню академічної мобільності, спільним дослідженням та реалізації програм подвійних дипломів.

Глобальний конгрес триває, консолідуючи зусилля провідних університетів світу навколо сталого майбутнього планети.

Third day of the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025

On 18 June, participants of the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025 in Istanbul (Turkey) continued their work in an extremely dynamic and promising direction - the application of innovative technologies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The central event of the day was plenary sessions devoted to the role of AI in transforming approaches to sustainable development, the development of social innovations, and the active involvement of young people in leadership in the field of climate change. The discussion emphasized the need for interdisciplinary interaction and the integration of modern technologies into education, science, and civil society.

Within the framework of the congress, European University took an important step in expanding its international partnership by signing an official Memorandum of Cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres with the Sultanate of Oman's higher education institution, the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS).

A number of strategically important documents have also been prepared for signing: a memorandum with the Law University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria) and Visayas State University (Philippines). All these agreements will contribute to the deepening of academic mobility, joint research and the implementation of double degree programmes.
