21 листопада Україна відзначає День гідності та свободи — день, коли ми згадуємо події, що визначили нашу сучасну історію та сформували покоління, яке знає ціну свободі.

З Помаранчевої революції й Революції Гідності бере свій початок новітній етап боротьби українців за право бути вільними. Але сьогодні ця боротьба триває на фронті, у громадах, в університетах — у всіх куточках нашої держави.
І кожен з нас щодня робить свій вибір на користь відповідальності, людяності та незламності.

Українці довели:
— свобода — наша внутрішня природа,
— гідність — наша спільна мова,
— воля до перемоги — наша спільна енергія.

Сьогодні ми згадуємо тих, хто став на захист країни у 2004, 2013, 2022 роках і хто продовжує захищати її зараз.
Згадуємо тих, хто віддав життя за майбутнє України.
Дякуємо тим, хто щодня наповнює державу силою, вірою й стійкістю.

Європейський університет підтримує цінності, за які боролися і борються українці: свободу думки, гідність особистості, незалежність країни.
Для нашої академічної спільноти це не просто історичні поняття — це принципи, які формують покоління молоді, здатної будувати вільну і відповідальну Україну.

Нас об’єднує віра в перемогу, у власні сили та в майбутнє, яке ми творимо разом.

Day of Dignity and Freedom — 21 November

21 November marks Ukraine’s Day of Dignity and Freedom — a day when we honour the events that shaped our modern history and formed a generation that knows the actual value of freedom.

From the Orange Revolution to the Revolution of Dignity, Ukraine began a new stage in its struggle for the right to be free. Today, this struggle continues — on the frontline, in communities, in universities, and in every corner of our country.
Every day, Ukrainians choose in favour of responsibility, humanity, and resilience.

Ukrainians have proven that:
— freedom is our inner nature,
— dignity is our shared language,
— the will to win is our collective strength.

Today we remember those who stood to defend Ukraine in 2004, 2013, 2022 — and those who continue to protect it now.
We honour those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s future.
And we thank everyone who fills our country with strength, faith, and endurance every single day.

European University supports the values for which Ukrainians have stood and continue to stand: freedom of thought, human dignity, and national independence.
For our academic community, these are not just historical concepts — they are principles that shape a generation capable of building a free and responsible Ukraine.

We are united by faith in victory, in ourselves, and in the future we are creating together.
